Outdoor Season 2026

Practices start the week of March 31st and run through to July 2026.  Those looking to compete at the Legion Nationals (U16/U18) will continue until mid-Aug.  Grade 3-6 wil end after U14 Championships, or Rising Stars if choosing to compete.

Distance Grade 7+ 

Monday at TISS  4:30 - 6:30

Wednesdays at TISS 4:30-6:30 

Speed and Power Grade 7+ 

Tuesday and Thursday at TISS 6:30-8:00.  

High Jump at the Indoor Facility 8:00-9:00

Athletes are encouraged to utilize facility for strength/mobility during this time as well

Grade 3-6 Junior Development 

Tuesday/Thursday at TISS 5:30-6:30

Changes in program location (eg weather changes and cancellations) will be announced on the team Facebook group, the link is sent for this group when registration is completed. 

$200 for the season for Grade 7+ program

$175 for the season for Grade 3-6 program

Masters athletes are welcomes and encouraged to join in with our programs.  Training will be adjusted to suit athlete requirements.

Cross Country /Fall Season 2026
 

Grade 7 and older athletes start training August 10th at St Lawrence Park on  Monday and Wednesday with Coach Janet and Coach Jen from 4:30-6:15. These practices may involve a water workout so athletes are encouraged to bring a bathing suit and towel.  Locations will vary as season progresses and include Laurier Hill and Mac Johnson Conservation area. Please watch the Facebook group (link sent upon registration) for location updates.

Grade 3-6 athletes start practices August 18th at Laurier Hill with Coach Laura and Coach Nicky.  This group trains Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-7:00.  Practices will shift earlier in the evening as the light changes, and near the end of the season, 5:30-6:30 practices will encourage athletes to wear a headlamp and reflective armbands.  

Speed and Power Grades 7 and up

Starting August 18th at Laurier Hill from  from 7:00-8:00 on Tuesdays with Coach Laura.  :  Off season base and technical for throws, jumps and sprints.   Practice will move to the indoor track 7:00-9:00 as the season progresses and the light changes. Additional optional practices may be announced during the season. 

Season concludes at Provincials approximately Nov 14/15 for the Junior Development group and at the National Championships November 28-29 in Quebec City for the U16-Masters Athletes.
